Lucky number seven in the Moscow-based label catalogue Exarde is coming to you from Otis. This guy has continued his string of heavy dancefloor-oriented releases and just finished this busy year with a third vinyl release in a row.

Let’s face it - sometimes you just need to party like it's never gonna end. Just drop this on your trusty decks and wait until some of your neighbours show up with a few cocktails or something even nicer. This stunning vinyl is definitely going to be a heavy pounder workhorse. So, you better call one of those DJs or somebody will do it before you.

Somewhere between a fever dream and dancefloor. Between the sinister rhythms of the depths and gasping for breath barely above the surface. Stilness, covered with waves of dub and slowly emerging, yet full-fledged harmonies. Mazewski's sophomore record on Warsaw's Brutaż is about something profoundly human and oh how that feature mutates! This EP is dedicated to all the people struggling with addictions and those who help them to see their inner light.Mastered and cut by Tim Xavier at Manmade MasteringDesign and cover by Aleksandra Grünholz (Studio Chaotyczne)
From EP Title opener and the three tracks to follow, you’ll find part '80s sleaze, part '90s deepness and part '00s wiggle wrapped into one package.A2 track "Vector Boy and The Horse With Three Legs” is as cooked as the title given. A twisted ride on a budget carnival right, steered forward by driving percussion and a mid-break bubbly synth line.“Bubble Pop,” an ode to the 1986 arcade game, is a straight shooter. An early morning tune that pirouettes nicely through a sunrise set. Record closer, “Stingray Shuffle,” ties the release together with its juggled arpeggios and organically grown drum work. The Electronic Brain makes dance music cocktails that pop like a twist of lime hitting seltzer. Melodic, crisp, and refreshing.
The baseline alone on Electromenager’s ‘Sunny Side’ on the right dance floor, on the right sound system, it’s enough to end any rave. That’s meant in the best way possible, how do you follow a track with such precision yet drunken mania all at the same time. The synths echo Hitchcock’s scariest movie shot in the 60s, while the drums make you more than aware while simultaneously deranged on this outer planet destination this new label takes you to. Staple selector and producer Youandewan takes it to even further afield galaxies on the flip. Tribal drums and morphing samples, conjure free party energy, with the top end in the sky and the low end firmly rooted in expertly crafted club-ready transgression. The last remix by Huerta comes earnest and precise. Less low-swung and more f**k off. The baseline is simple but absolute. This is squishy, mushy, dirty dance music. One for the books, collection - this is one for the heads.
Backward Futura, exploring the sounds and vibes of 80’s and 90’s electronica thru the lenses of the new Millennium. First EP by Linear Sound Delivery, one of Italy’s most interesting artists under a new secretive moniker.
EYA returns with a four-artist VA mining the outer reaches of trance and electro from 110–140bpm.We lift off with a throbbing slow-burner from mid-90s Danish duo UFO, whose ‘Make It Light’ was previously only available on limited CD.Things accelerate on ‘Out Of Touch’, the latest in a line of shimmering dancefloor missiles from Sohrab. On the flip, DJ N4 falls fully into a trance on ‘Bio Aggregation’, with vocalizations, acid lines and organic percussion all driving us to warp speed.‘Bad Weather’ by French electro wiz Fasme completes the trip, a craftily mutating electro-meets-prog epic whose beautiful outro will see you home safely. Enjoy the ride.
