Inner Zone’s latest project marks the launch of their brand new eponymous label - the first EP in what’s set to be a run of self-released work. Kicking things off in style, Neurolink arrives with supercharged energy thanks to sizzling breaks, wonky rave chords and blissed-out vocal samples. Next up, My Mind is a winding journey through signal-firing, synapse-stimulating percussion - this time the breaks are faster, more vortex-like. Fragmented vocals and a nostalgia-tinged melody combine to create the gloomy euphoria of the third track, Dark Night. The Final track, Crystal Cut, is spell-casting - a heady potion of ethereal chimes, paired with a delicate melody, guides us into a state of hypnosis. Inner Zone’s latest release offers a contemporary re-imagining of the much-loved sound of breaksy, rave-hued, 90s dance floors.

Mind Dance returns with the second volume in their ‘Mystic Minds’ VA series. Launched last year as a way to continue the strong collaborative nature of the electronic music underground, each instalment will shine a light on local Australian talent and their cross-continental contemporaries. Continuing this mission with a new batch of friends, family and former label mates in tow, round two rallies six artists from home soil and overseas for another deep excursion into the vast expanses of dance music. From across the pond we have Dutch producer and Music From Memory regular Dazion who kicks off the VA with a wonky slice of rhythmic downtempo, and Phran, a Barcelona-based artist and member of IVAN - a duo alongside Ivy Barkakati - who puts his foot on the gas with a stomping techno cut. Closer to home we have Aussie dance veteran and the man behind Mind Dance’s last release, Andy Rantzen, deliver a tight bleep-soaked acid jam, followed by Leo James and Mousse flying the flag for Melbourne with twinkling IDM and laid-back vocal house, respectively. Finally label boss Furious Frank closes out proceedings with a downbeat percussive house number to usher in summer, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere that is...
It’s been nearly 2 years since our last reissue comp, so we’re pleased to announce SHRR06: Seven Hills Presents Governed By Rhythm 94 – 97!We’re taking another wild excursion into the world of Andy Jones, the mastermind behind Precise Daily Rhythm, a label we reissued back in 2020. Governed By Rhythm was an outlet for Andy’s faster, trancier dance tracks, as opposed to the grooving techno and tech house of PDR.SHRR06 comprises three never before heard tracks on Disc 1, as well as four from the original label on Disc 2. Additions to the original music are; ANWAM, a 16 minute long acid ambient wormhole, Kik The Can, a pumping bassline driven piece of tech trance, and the early 90’s Italian-style Bedroom.
Proper 90's Acid Trance feel, limited hand stamped copies!
On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the 2nd EP in the 3 part series that highlight the music from the 1990's Norwegian electronic act Neural Network. Picking up from where EP #1 left off, the A-side features the title track from their first album 'Brain-State-In-A-Box'. Originally, this was actually an edit from the 30+ minute live version that was played in 1993 where Keith Flint and the Prodigy crew gave them the thumbs up for being a great opening act for them to take stage to. A pinnacle UK rave track in all the essence, give this one a proper go. All 16 minutes of it! The B-side features our favorite ambient cut from Neural Network's 2nd album 'Modernité'. Titled 'Part 3' it is a deep, emotional and moving ambient track. Goosebump material to those that knew it orginally. All 3 of these EP's come with notes from the band on those special early days of their music and their inspiration. All these tracks are on vinyl for the first time with excellent artwork from UK's Grid Pattern. Bring back the Chill Out Rooms!
The first release on Mehdi M’s own label offers a warm, nostalgic sound that harkens back to the golden age of electronic music. Each track invites listeners on a journey through the diverse sounds of the electronic music spectrum. Whether you’re a seasoned club-goer or a casual listener, this EP is sure to satisfy your cravings for immersive, analog-produced sounds.
Keeping up with the number of different aliases Legowelt has is as hard as keeping up with the number of personal beefs Prince Harry has, only far more worthy of your time. Here the prolific Dutch producer becomes Smackos and links up with Brightness Shallan Davar for a second of 10 proposed volumes of Whispers Of An Ancient World. Davar takes care of the first side, which offers four deeply atmospheric pieces of analogue ambient fuzz and cosmic imagery. Smackos steps up on the B-side with a more mystic ambient sound and plenty of his signature shapeshifting synth patterns that melt the mind and submerse you deep in an interplanetary world.
