This release is a tribute to the friendships I have built over the years within the electronic music scene.
Once again, the occupying squad went heavy on the record… 4 Club Tracks in-between nods to the rave culture, old-school electro flavour with a neat modern twist, the usual breakbeats bonanza and a very naughty trance remix on top !

Featuring : S.A.M., Nathan Melja, Kasper Marott & Fareed.

All tracks produced in Paris, Berlin & Copenhague.

For the second release, Tonomat welcomes Christopher Ledger with 3 original tracks and a revamp by Tonomat Soundsystem aka Dragoș Ilici & Prichindel.A1 offers a heavy, dark, introspective breakbeat & acid trip, followed by a more driving track that transforms into dreamy electro midway on A2.B1 is a straight beat acid groover, perfect to pick up the energy and keep it going, while B2 showcases a playful percussive track that takes on different shapes throughout its development.
Originally released in the mid 80's on UK cassette label Bite Back!, this nearly lost gem finds new life 30 years later on Cocktail D'Amore Music. Steve has cobbled together a superbly melancholic electronic concept album. Wistful melodies often evoke sentiments of a lost childhood and hazy English mornings. Each song within remains untitled allowing full perceptive freedom as to what they all communicate, a language for the feelings that have no name. Untitled A1 - A6 leads one along intimate soundscapes of pattering drums and tinkering piano, a sense of closeness and trust develops with the introduction of each new idea much like the beginning of a bed time story. Untitled B1 - B3 then begin to breathe more openly awash in angelic colours before abruptly turning downward on B4, a wall of booming drums and atmospheres from the furthest reaches of the galaxy before the last trio of songs settles gently back on Earth.
Encore!? Say no more.. Plush number 4 is here! Elusive local live hero JCow soft launches into the arms of Plush Records, bringing a modern day classique to the underground masses. The Berlin based producer & DJ has been humbly making waves amongst prancers and dancers; unless you’ve been living under a rock!“Wish U Were Here W Me” is a pupil dilating, rump shaking sunrise anthem; a melodic masterclass with a bassline that puts funky town to shame. Vocals expertly extracted from Brandy’s “Long Distance'' which soar like silk over a breathtaking breakdown.. tugging at heartstrings across the globe. The Emotional Breakdown mix is catering to the softies out there, stripped back and filling up your cup, pure natural ecstasy. Close your eyes and get lost in the groove.
For their 4th release, Gnistan Records enlist young Swedish newcomer Baenglund. After launching his Firma Grande label earlier this year he produces a varied five tracker here in his own imitable style.
Low Flung is the long-standing solo project of Sydney based artist Danny Wild. Following their debut LP “Blow Waves” in 2018 we now see Wild’s return to physical for his second full length studio album on Paper-Cuts. Featuring 9 selected works further sketching out the private spaces of various tape explorations and live performances between 2018-2020.
Melbourne’s DJ Ali is up next on Blue Hour Music with a powerful EP of fast percussive tribal groovers recorded live over multiple hardware sessions. ‘Interceptor’ kicks off the record with energising and rolling momentum laced in echoes of shamanic ritual. ‘Paradox Cell’ maintains the tension with a stripped back and pumping drum track enhanced by repeating tones and swirling winds that suddenly take over. On the flip ‘Nightwatch’ feels even more immersive, tunneling down into hypnotic chambers where a voice guides and pulls the listener through a lucid void. ’Regeneration’ rounds up the record with an uplifting journey that begins to unfold with a series of shifting layers and hints of colour beneath a haze of euphoria.
