XY Dosing©(UD)is a maximalist genre of electronic music that refers to sound productions that make for a radical succession to the minimalist genre, regardless of style and aesthetic practice though mainly associated with the field of sound arts. More precisely, it designates that which embraces heterogeneity and allows for complex systems of juxtapositions and collisions, in which all outside influences are viewed as potential raw material. However, UD relies more on singular experimentation rather than the addition of musical characteristics attached to specific genres.Subsequently, UXY Dosing© gives birth to MDM(Maximal Dance Music)which, beyond a sole matter of genre, remains linked to the high consumption of dextrose associated with milk, which de facto shares the same acronym as MDM(Maximal Dextrose & Milk).Read : Dextrose, energiser or poison?UXY Dosing capsule pack notice: The packaging attached to the front cover includes three ready-to-consume UXY dosing capsules, which give you access to the last three songs of the album. After two archival releases, Raakvlak appears in the frontline of contemporary sonics, and it is the French collective Organizatsiya that gets the label’s feet wet.Vlug, Dutch for rapid, is a work marked by a sense of being in transit. Bent under lockdown circumstances and corresponding feelings, all tracks were created in a car (!) and on the road throughout various places in Europe. Haunted by good old escapism, yet already too remote from anything to really drive away from. This translates to a dreamlike album that provokes the past and the present by taking elements of both, and stirring it up until something in-between comes out. The organic and the digital blend effortlessly, as acoustic guitar and bass sit next to intelligent electronix and similar FX. Sometimes this takes centre stage, while at others it forms a natural canvas for spoken words.On Akzident and Een Lied Voor Jou these words are provided by that other lyrical maverick, Rik van Boeckel, whose archives had been subject of Raakvlak’s second release Deze Hoofden Praten. Here too, old and new blend, into an in-betweenness that forms an entity of its own.

Swedish vinyl only label Kvalia Records breaks a 9-month silence by introducing a meticulously executed 3 track ep by DJ Nobu and Artefakt. Hiiro consists of two original, psychedelic techno trips produced by DJ Nobu, and one re-interpretive sonic journey by Artefakt.

With 2021’s much loved “Vinland In Space Ep (JR001)” under their belt, the Pakistan/Thailand outfit Jugaar Records crew are back with close friend and collaborator, Bangkok born and bred DOTT, whose “Puppy Luv” EP marks their second release.The DJ/Producer has been in fine form lately with releases on BLKMARKET amongst others, as well as opening a vinyl record store with his More Rice gang in Bangkok – the city's first specializing in house and techno.Having enjoyed a relatively lockdown free 2020, this year has seen more restrictions in the capital. Using his time wisely DOTT has regrouped, reflected and poured his energy into new and exciting ventures.The record consists of four dancefloor cuts primed for club action.The opener “What Am I Gonna Do” employs DOTT’s typical swing mechanics in a tough yet breezy jam, perfect for late-night into morning situations."Spacey Mango” is a peak-time groover with a squelchy acidic bassline that pulsates with increasing wildness, tempered by clinical synth stabs.On the B-side “Puppy Luv” takes a deeper tone with spacey chords and bleepy synth picks, it’s a roller!Finally, “Puppy Luv” is given the “FLiP” by the legendary Titonton Duvante. An early supporter of DOTT’s music, the Ohio based DJ takes the Bangkokian’s parts, adds a cheerful melody and employs his signature ever-evolving arrangement technique.

Italian early Trance/House project from '93 brought back to life on Sound Metaphors Records, remastered and with full cover artwork.Originally released in 1993, this record is representative of the first steps towards what is now regarded as progressive trance yet still remaining very much faithful to the percussive fundamentals of house music with early tribal influences. This EP comes with 4 versions of the same production ranging from euphoric trancey no beat moments to full on percussive driven beats. This reissue is made in honor of the late Roby J. who participated in producing this project. Remastered for maximum output.
