Enchanting, thrill-seeking desire. After three years, the second entry in the highly personal ZHR series has arrived. In Zohar's renewed modus operandi analog and digital techniques interact with dissected and transformed sound experiments -- an eclectic approach that honours the wide musical scope she is most interested in. Consciously withholding energy, these seven percussive and pulsating tracks seek a balance between a near teasing attitude, and total transgression. In the end, Zohar's volatile signature refuses to be contained.

Verdant returns with an intriguing release and continues to follow its unique, meandering path through the electronic music landscape. The label's tenth record invites listeners to explore rich, enchanting, ambient textures and the sonics for which the Verdant name was first associated with decades ago. Naturally, the line up and music is overflowing with quality and its 4 artists are afforded an expansive 20 minute, untitled, single cut each. One of the UKs cherished electro producers, Reedale Rise, graces side A with a rare excursion into beatless space. Next, Out.lier casts an imaginative spell before talented live and recorded musician Jo Johnson captivates with cascading synthesis. Romanticise The World (who appeared under an alias on Verdant before) closes, assembling Detroit [Escalator] Inspired landscapes to fall into. Ambient music how it needs to be experienced on vinyl.
For the 2nd release of Pinkman's sublabel Mindri, the mad professor Univac arranged an excursion through a toxic wasteland. Stripping the sound to its raw atomic rhythms and rendering mayhem into a state of survival. 'Helicon' is a 4-tracker of gritty electronics, served with Univac's no-frills attitude.
Alien Imprints is back with their second release which includes some well-respected artists along with rising talents showcasing their skills.False prophets - Relpek A.K.A. Kepler is a DJ/producer who hails from the North of England. His offering is a crisp electro track that generates a calculated bass, analogue stabs and phrases with sweeping synths.Spider Ink - Ollie Drummond, a respected DJ from London gives us a proper tech house number solid 4:4 beats, crafted basslines and pad effects that follow with acid riffs.Thibo - Bronxy and ETRE from the Ukraine collaborate on this deep house affair, with soulful grooves, smooth deep bassline and "spacey vibe" pads create a cool hypnotic flow.Inverted - Hydra Machine's music is influenced by 1980's electro. Deep 808 inspired beats meets an "Electro Funk" bassline, 80's style pads and acid bleeps combine together perfectly.
'Other Dimensions Lp', Terrence Dixon's latest work and the new adventure in 30D's ExoPlanets sublabel, comes for the very first time released in full length format, split in two sides, showing Terrence's two faces. As everyone knows, words can not describe the music of this Detroit visionary, but we'll try. Futuristic, avant-garde-esque, mesmerizing, trippy and minimalistic / reduced techno funk as expected in A side, but highly emotional and evocative, as only he can do. On the flip side, Terrence redefines and takes to another level the concept of dark, experimental, abstract, atmospheric, alienated and dystopian music, a true musical trip (perhaps a nightmare???) to dive into. An extremely personal and intimate album.
